Labour Inspection Schleswig-Holstein
Since 1 July 2025, state occupational safety in Schleswig-Holstein has been part of the newly established State Office for Occupational Safety, Social Affairs and Health (LASG, headquartered in Neumünster). Previously, responsibility lay with the State Occupational Safety Authority at the Unfallkasse Nord (StAUK), a nationally unique arrangement placing a state task with an accident insurance provider. Occupational safety supervision operates at three locations: Kiel, Lübeck and Itzehoe.
